On October 23 and 24, 2024, six Asian countries will compete for a spot in the Grand Finale of the Pastry World Cup at Sirha Lyon, during the Asia-Pacific selection. This selection takes place every two years in Singapore, off the coast of Malaysia.
A city-state comprised of 63 islands, Singapore provides an ideal setting to host this competition. Much like modern pastry, it is a bustling and contemporary city, giving nature a central place with its lush greenery. Colors blend and harmonize in this garden city, which is forward-looking and boasts a strong cultural identity that Singaporeans nurture with an international influence they are keen to embrace and make their own.
This competition aims to select the three countries that, by bringing together the best pastry chefs in Asia, will go on to the Grand Finale.
