NATIONAL SELECTION Indonesia Selection of the Pastry World Cup

November 12 > 15, 2025
SIAL Interfood exhibition, Jakarta

A team for the future, driven by promising young talent

The Indonesian team's journey in following the Pastry World Cup route in 2024 stopped at the continental selection in Singapore, but they managed to get the Promising Talent title at the Asian Pastry Cup! This award celebrates their exceptional skills, creativity, and huge potential for the future.

With the youngest candidates, it proves that Indonesia has the potential to also excel in the world pastry championship.

Indonesia Selection – National Pastry Cup 2025

The Indonesia Selection for the National Pastry Cup was held in conjunction with the SIAL Interfood exhibition, alongside the 7th edition of the prestigious La Cuisine competition. Set in a high-energy, public-facing venue, the selection drew an audience of over 1,000 visitors throughout the day.

This year’s theme, Zodiac, pushed both competing teams to their creative and technical limits. Each team was required to complete one chocolate showpiece, one sugar showpiece, one chocolate entremets, and one plated dessert, all within a strict eight-hour time frame.

We are proud of the level of craftsmanship and passion displayed, and we hope the selected team will go on to represent Indonesia at the Asian Pastry Cup 2026 in Singapore, and ultimately earn a place among Asia’s best at the Coupe du Monde de la Pâtisserie.
Congratulations to Bryan Benedict Tanuhadi, the big winner in the Sugar category, and to Lizzie Halim, who takes the top spot in the Chocolate category!
