RULES & REGULATIONS
Year after year, the Bocuse d’Or has extended its reach to the four corners of the world, in particular thanks to its international network of Academies who invest much effort to push the level even higher, reinventing cuisine to reach to highest step on the podium.
Today, the Bocuse d’Or contest involves around 70 countries that aspire to win the Bocuse d’Or title. Each of these is required to first hold a national round in order to determine a representative who will take part in the next stage of the qualifying process: the continental events.
There are four continental qualifying contests:
The aim of the continental qualifiers is to determine a total of 24 finalists who will represent their country and promote their culinary traditions in the grand finale of the contest that is held in Lyon, France.
