Since the first Coupe du Monde de la Patisserie, the Netherlands has been represented with a team. This continuing participation has led to
a structural approach of the coaching and selection of the Coupe du Monde team by means of the foundation of the 'Nederlands Patisserie
Team' (Pastry Team the Netherlands). By means of our activities we want stimulate motivation and enthusiasm with (young) craftsmen for
further technical developments and participation in international competitions. The World Pastry Cup competition everytime is a climax
in our continuing activities that always leads to a lot of publications in the (trade) media. Apart from this we appreciate and value the
contacts with our international pastry collegues very much. This year we are participating with the same team as in 2005, who have made it their mission to turn the silver then into gold in 2009!
