This year, World Pastry Cup celebrates its 20 years!

Created in 1989, led by Gabriel Paillasson, this famous competition is the climax of elite World Pastry every two years. The best talent are inventing emerging trends with creativity stimulated by the meeting of all the know-how.

For 20 years, this extraordinary adventure continues to grow and spread across the globe to become the reference Pastry event. For this special edition, which promises to be even more stunning and exciting, 22 countries will try to be sacred world champions 2009.

On 25 and 26 January 2009, Pierre Hermé, Honorary President of the 11th edition and the 30 former winners, Italian, French, Belgian, American and Japanese, will support teams from around the world and celebrate the 20th anniversary of the World Pastry Cup.
